What's On My Reading List 2019

A New Year calls for a new list of books to read! I read quite a lot last year, about 20 or so books in total, but I aim to read even more in 2019. I already have a few books waiting to be read on my shelf, as well as a pretty lengthy Amazon wishlist full of books ready to purchase, so I thought I'd share a few that I currently have in my read pile.

New Fashion Rules by Victoria Magrath
I love fashion but I never seem to read a lot of fashion related books, so after hearing a lot of good things about this and how it gives a great insight into the world of fashion marketing, I had to put it on my read list! It seems like a great little read for anyone interested in fashion trends and the fashion industry. Plus, the book looks so beautifully presented it was hard not to pick up.

The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving A F**k and You Do You by Sarah Knight
I've had these two for a while now but haven't had time to sit down and read them yet. I've heard lots of great things about these books: they're hilarious, empowering and insightful. I can't wait to give them a go!

Feminists Don't Wear Pink by Scarlett Curtis
I received this for my birthday and so far I've only read a few pages, but I can't wait to properly get stuck into it. Last year I made an effort to read more feminist books and this year I plan to do the same - starting with this one!

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
This book has been sitting on my dusty shelf for a while now. I had been putting off reading it because of the lengthy size, but the reviews are so amazing for this book that I am determined to read it this year. It's been called a profound and moving piece of work, so I'm definitely looking forward to finally being able to sit down and read it.

Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng
I've seen lots of great reviews floating around about this book, so it only made sense to add it to my reading list. It seems quite different to my usual read: it's all about a dysfunctional family and their mistakes and misunderstandings. Excited to see what the hype is about!

The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule
I'm completely obsessed with true crime and serial killer shows and documentaries, so I'm eager to also read some true crime novels. This book is all about Ted Bundy and gives an insight into the mind of killers. I can already tell I'll enjoy reading this!

You by Caroline Kepnes
After absolutely loving the Netflix series, I couldn't resist adding this to my list. I can't wait to delve into Joe's twisted mind all over again in the novel.

Tell Me I'm Wrong by Adam Croft
This book seems like it's right up my street! It follows the story of a woman who fears her husband is a serial killer. I love a great thriller and think I'll have trouble putting this down!

What's on your reading list for this year?
