Winter Beauty Favourites of 2018

I find it difficult to look back on all the beauty products I've used and loved from the past year and to choose which ones would be considered my favourite. So I've decided to focus on a few favourites from the past few months instead and roundup some products I've been loving during the winter. Here's what I chose...

Pixi Glow Tonic

If you haven't already tried Pixi Glow Tonic, you need to. My skin was a nightmare before using this; I broke out completely all over my chin and nothing seemed to help clear it up until I finally caved and bought myself a bottle of glow tonic. After a couple of weeks of using it, my skin had already improved and cleared up a lot of my acne. While it hasn't gone completely, as this product doesn't specifically target as acne, there's definitely been a reduction in my spots. I'm now left with an even skin tone, much less acne and beautifully glowy skin!

The Works Pillow Spray

I recently rediscovered this pillow spray during the winter months and forgot how much I loved it. I often go through stages where I struggle with sleeping and my brain will just not switch off when for hours. Since using this, I sleep better and wake up feeling refreshed. It has a lovely lavender scent that isn't too overpowering and makes you feel instantly relaxed.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

A game changer for stubborn acne! I heard tons of good reviews about the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion so I finally got round to ordering myself some and I regret not trying it sooner - it works magic! As soon as I see a spot coming through, I put a tiny bit of this on using a cotton bud and by the morning it has already disappeared - literally! Such a great little product for treating spots and acne.

The Body Shop Mango Hand Lotion

Is it even a winter favourites post if I don't include a trusty hand cream? There's nothing worse than having dry and flaky hands in the winter time and this little hand cream has saved me! This Body Shop mango hand cream smells delicious (of mango, obviously), doesn't have a sticky feeling, sinks in well and makes my hands super soft. I haven't gone anywhere without this in my handbag!

Mac Whirl Lipstick

I couldn't be without this lipstick this winter. Mac Whirl is a rose-brown toned lipstick that is edgy and dark but neutral enough to also wear in the day. I had been dying to find a good brown lipstick for ages and ever since trying this, no other brown lipstick has been able to top it. It's such a beautiful and flattering shade that I think would suit any complexion. It's definitely in my top most favourite lipsticks.

What were some of your favourite beauty winter products?

I can't wait to see what 2019 might bring for new beauty discoveries!
